It's funny ho...Oh boy do I remember those days! It's funny how life changes for everybody when the children reach double digit birthdays.
In the beginning it's more of a physical task raising kids...lots of hands-on care, running after them, less sleep, etc. Then things change and it's more psychological and takes more brain-power. OH & Patience to the nth power!
For the record...I'm just saying...my boys' teenage years were more them being mischievous and telling creative stories(lying through their teeth) and my daughters' was pure emotion...I never knew from day-to-day, and sometimes hour-to-hour what mood she'd be in. YIKES. But it seems to regulate fairly quickly and the teenage years aren't so bad after all:)

I know that you & your husband will handle it well...I can tell that you are a strong unit.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5886704465018106423.post-46911126215046162432010-01-03T22:10:27.429-08:002010-01-03T22:10:27.429-08:00Ha!Ha!Ha! - You SOOOOOO said it right! Teen-ism creeps in at 12 and ebbs out at 16.5 (that's when they start smiling more)- however, that sadly moves into, "I'm a man now" stage which means they think they can sit down with you like an equal - well -there's only room for 2 people on this throne - LOL. I've heard they come back when they're 19 - which my oldest did - briefly ("thanks for the independence with training wheels mom") until they find Mrs. Right - and then, they're like, "Mom? I don't have a mom - I have a wife - who's this mom anyhow?) - It is so nice when other people's children are just like your own - We definitely could have a great time over a cup of coffee!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5886704465018106423.post-26038981548339039542009-05-01T09:45:00.000-07:002009-05-01T09:45:00.000-07:00This is my first visit to your blog and I've enjoy...This is my first visit to your blog and I've enjoyed myself.
